Do shoppers need an account or an app?
No. The customizer is part of your product page. They open the product, personalize it and add it to the cart, like any other purchase.
Can I control what shoppers are allowed to change?
Yes. In the Design Studio you mark which parts are open: a name, a photo slot, a place. Everything else stays locked to your design.
What does their design look like in the cart?
The cart shows the product with their design on it, so shoppers can check the spelling of a name before they pay.
Does the live customizer work outside Shopify?
Not yet. Composerie runs on Shopify stores today, with other platforms on the roadmap.
