Five roles, stacked
Each role contains the one below it, so you are picking how far up someone goes rather than ticking a grid of boxes. A viewer reads the dashboard and the analytics. Fulfillment adds the orders. An editor adds designs, products, media and campaigns. An admin adds the customizer settings and the integrations. The owner adds the billing.

Money stays with the owner
Billing is the only thing an admin cannot reach. Someone can run the whole operation, connect providers, change the customizer, publish products, and still never see the invoices. And ownership itself does not move on one click: the current owner starts the transfer, the new owner accepts it, and until they do nothing has changed.

Adding someone, and changing your mind
You invite by email and they join by accepting, so nobody is silently added to your account. An invitation that turns out to be a mistake can be cancelled before it is accepted. Change someone's role later and they are told, which matters more than it sounds: a designer who suddenly cannot open products should know why rather than assume something broke.

Everyone can see who is in the room
Any member can look at the team list, even a viewer. Hiding who has access to a store from the people working in it helps nobody, and someone noticing an account that should have been removed months ago is worth more than the secrecy. Managing that list is a different matter and stays behind the roles that should hold it.

What are the five roles?
Owner, admin, editor, fulfillment and viewer. They stack, so each one includes everything the role below it can do and adds to it, which means you decide how far up somebody goes rather than assembling permissions one at a time.
Can I give someone access to orders only?
Yes, that is the fulfillment role. It opens the orders and nothing else: no designs, no product settings, no integrations, no billing. It suits whoever packs and ships for you, or an agency that handles your dispatch.
Who can see the invoices?
Only the owner. An admin can run the entire operation, connect providers, change the customizer and publish products, and still never see what you are billed.
How do I hand the account to someone else?
Ownership transfer takes two steps. The current owner starts it and the incoming owner accepts, and nothing changes until they do. An account this important should not move on a single misplaced click.
Does someone know when I change their role?
Yes, a role change emails the person it applies to. It saves a support conversation: someone who suddenly cannot open the product editor learns that their access changed instead of assuming the app is broken.
